About

I’m a software developer (geek) that has been into photography for a long time.

This fascination of photography got into full flow about 3 years ago when I bought a Fuji S9500. This bridge camera was superb for learning to use a manual rather than rely on the standard point-and-shoot affair.

After a couple of years I felt I’d outgrown the Fuji and it had started to feel a bit too restrictive for my more creative side. This is when I discovered Canon.

I bought my Canon 40D in April 2008 and I felt I’d finally made that step towards ‘real’ photography. It’s a really superb piece of kit and it quickly brought me into line telling me very quickly that I didn’t quite have the grasp of photography as I’d thought.

Over the last year I’ve been playing around with the Canon and letting my creative eye loose. Hopefully you might see improvements as you look through my selected work on this site.

I’m very welcoming to critique of my work so if you feel you’d like to comment on a picture, just comment on the item, or if you’d like to say something in general just send me an email through the ‘Contact Me’ page.

I hope you enjoy my art as much as I’ve enjoyed making it.
